Why? What? Who? Where?
|
What does my designer need from me?
Be prepared and ready for the initial meeting. Get your edited text and images to the designer ASAP. Have any design ideas prepared for discussion.
What is the size limit for a web page ?
Try to keep it below 50k and the average screen size is 640 pixels wide, about 8.5".
What do you charge?
Fees can be time-based or flat rate and therefore vary from one project to another.
Why does my web site look or act differently on various screens?
You may not have the same fonts installed. You may be using a different browser such as Netscape. There's almost total control with the printed material, except when it actually hits the press. Web sites can have many variables when opened by the user. A different size monitor with different resolution, color representation, and gamma settings will also change the appearance.
Can I view my site throughout the design and development process ?
You can view it over the World Wide Web and monitor progress, report problems and critique.
